If your going to do it, do it properly and get a proper tool for crimping them. Those cheap ones are total shit, not worth the £5. You'll just end up with dodgy connectors; The wires will pull out of the bullet connectors easier than the bullet connectors come apart.
Something like these;

(Found here https://www.kojaycat.com/crimping%20tools.htm)
If you don't want to spend that much, I'd suggest trying to borrow some, or getting a local garage that has the tools to do it. My friend has a pair, and they are infinitely better than the cheapo £5 tools. ____________________

If a job's worth doing, might as well do it properly. The last thing you want is to rewire it, only to have intermittent problems with your ignition. It could cut out any time, any where. On a busy dual carriageway, on a motorway slip road, during an overtake, on a dark country lane... All would be highly inconvienient, and possibly catastrophic.
This place also sells alot of useful stuff, and from what I see on Google is relatively well reputed.

While I agree with the sentiment, personally I've never had any wires pull out of the connectors when using a pair of these. Having better crimps just makes it easier. ____________________ H100 Breaking for spares |

Bluex5 has hit the nail on the head, crimp connecters are pure crap, especially on a bike. They corrode like there's no tomorrow, they are far from secure and could well fail at 70 on a dual carriageway, at night! OEM is the way to go. Borrow a soldering iron if you don't have one and do the job properly. Insulated crimp connectors are bodgers territory. Another source for OEM style is www.vehicleproducts.co.uk |

I agree with BlueX5.
Those ebay ones are extortionate though.
You'll get fifty of them for £6.28 (+VAT) from vehicle wiring products.
The MP71 crimping die they do is fine for small jobs.
Alternatively, a 4-way multiconnector block like it had originally.
£2.50 delivered off ebay
Needs the same crimping tool as the non-insulated terminals, ignore what it says on that ebay advert, it is wrong. The non-insulated crimping tool has a shaped die that curls the ends of the tags over properly. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen.
