donnington?

ive just got a k7 gsxr 750 and was looking forward to doing a trackday at the new donnington circuit.

ive been there on a ron haslam trackday there so i thought it would be a good 1st propper trackday.

you can book to go on a car trackday there but not on the bike.

also, if you cant do donnington is there any others that you would recommend? im from west yorkshire and wanted to go in the novice group so i can try to get more confident hanging off the bike. and would you recommend an open pitlane day?

i swear i couldnt see any dates for donnington! next week is abit soon for me, i was thinking middle of next month, june time.

is the day you booked the gp circuit or the national? also do they do open pitlane days at donnington? thanks

GP I think, don't think they've finished/opened the international track yet (Melbourne loop).

They used to do open pitlane days there, not sure if they do any more.

wsb used the old circuit with the loop. i thought that was the gp? and the new one wich esses back onto the straight was the national?

also while were all paying atention, does any of you know a good place to get my power commander set up around leeds? im booked in at jordan bikes on friday but i dont know anywhere else?

Fast group for me, I certainly won't be the fastest though. It's my first TD this year and I'll be getting used to the bike again.

Orange and White Mille hopefully, if I can get this sodding petrol tank on. DAMN YOU ACERBIS AND YOUR EXPANDING PLASTIC FUEL TANKS!

Same position as you, first TD of the year but first time at Donnington for me, using this as a warm up for Le Mans, so should be fun!

Will keep my eye out for you both. Hopefully the weather holds up.

I've never used no limits before(always FE), do they send you indemnity forms to fill in prior? Or is it ALL on the day type of gag?

cheers, i thought that was the case. i cant find a track day for the national circuit wich is what i was wanting to do. looks like its the full track for me then, id better get practiceing my slow corners
