CG125,.....bit of delay picking up, then takes off like a looney!

Q is, whats causing the lag?

Sounds sort of like you're describing a CG125 apart from the 'takes off like a looney' bit...

Yea its kind of bogging down, Is that the pump on the split of the throttle cable? on one side of the carb?

Hadn't thought about that..... it'll be the engine management micro processor, wont it. Doesn't that happen, when you have fitted the red power band, and at about 120, it starts logging fault codes from the ABS sensor, filling the fault code store?

Yea well i reckon its the big end flim flam myself, Might be the turbo system from the cossie i fitted with stickyback plastic and superglue but i highly doubt it as i dont buy cheap superglue Laughing Wink

The accelerator pump was fitted so honda could jet the bike leaner without having it bog down when the throttle is quickly cracked open.

So it might well be whats causing the issue that or a serious air leak somewhere
