You can get glue remove products, but i think that anything that will remove dried on glue will likely also remove dried on paint
You could always carefully sand it off then polish up the laquer? |

It's in the garden caked in mayo, the hugger is painted gloss black, and being replaced in a few months as it cost 20 quid and looks it 2 !  ____________________ Jogging on, destination living. |

Nail polish remover will soften it, though it'll likely attack the laquer. There used to be a product called Z7 Debonder which was specifically for removing it, I bet that's just re-labeled nail polish remover.... ____________________ a.k.a 'Geri'
