Well if it's running rich there are two ways of looking at it;
Something is causing it to aw in far too much fuel...
Or something is stopping it getting enough air.
Leaking inlet rubbers or airbox would cause it to run lean, as would aftermarket filter and exhaust if I am correct...
Also, Lipsmoker was just being a smartarse as he couldn't/wouldn't decipher your post I am far from an expert, merely willing to try and help
The sets of carbs you tried, were they brand new or second hand? The reason I ask is did they have the standard needles and jets? If they had been messed with then it would just make finding the problem harder. The carbs you borrowed, were they from the same model of bike? (Silly question as I imagine they were).
How is the bike to start? Does it start from cold without the choke or not? If you take out the spark plugs, what colour are they?
How did the mechanics you took it to decide it was running rich? I'd have thought that if it wasn't firing properly then you'd get alot of unburnt fuel in the exhaust, making it look like it was running rich? (Someone tell me if I'm talking crap here, I'm just trying to think logically)
Really need someone like kickstart or stinkwheel in here
EDIT: Will it run without the airfilter? My otherhalves 125 would run like a bag of shit with the filter in but was fine without it. Also, have you checked that the air ducts aren't blocked?
Have you still got standard exhaust and air filter? Also, is the Akrapovic just a slip on end can or entire system?
Importantly, when did the problem start? Had you made any changes to the bike recently before? ____________________

Your not running it with the choke on are you? I know some people buy a bike and don't realise which way is on and which way is off for the choke lever / plunger...
Does it do it all the time or just sometimes? At high rpm, low rpm or both? ____________________

lmao i didn't ride my rs for about 2 weeks a few months back because i was waiting for a new clutch cable.anyways it came and it ran just like what this bloke is describing and it took me best part of 2 days to realise i had left the choke on and the symbols had rubbed off before i owned it.it sounds stupid but easily done. ____________________ red bull gives you wing sting!!!

when was the last time you did the valve clearances,
its my go to answer, but i had similar issues with my zxr750, i was chasing my tail for ages before i bit the bullet,
turned out a few of the valves were so tight i couldnt actually get a feeler guage in there,
once i sorted it, bike ran like a dream, ____________________ the humans are dead
