Hi
Doubt it has holed the piston. Overheating followed by "smoking" would suggest to me that the head gasket has failed. Check the level of the coolant in the engine / radiator.
However if this is the case then the parts needed are likely to be the same as for a holed piston, just that you might need to replace the head (or get it skimmed flat again) as well.

Because it will go bang doubt the money spent is worth the tiny increase in power anyway
Just go with a normal top end
Barrel and piston
Piston rings
small end bearing
Head and exhaust studs
head gasket
base gasket
2 circlips
RC valve seal
Think that is everything you need  |
