Right, not my bike,
just wondering if you can point my brother in right direction
Recently, Brothers Chain snapped while riding.
Admittidly he was being a Pleb on the thing for a 'cool' photo.. Lid'less
Its been stood mayhaps a month now any yesterday we pulled the side fairing to see the actually damage. Where there chain has snapped its torn into some wiring and cracked a hole the size of my thumb into the thing.
First.. This hole. Its pretty much where the water pump mounts, sproket side bolt hole, is it a dry hollow that he can risk filling, or are there bits that may 'interfere' with that thought.. he is a rough arse
Second, There seems to be two wires running from above the engine somewhere down by the sproket. 'This was infact, wound around said sproket and torn' These wires are Black, and lime green/racing green .. into female connecter block, we cant find any trace of a male side down the bike anywhere.. Generator wiring is alot further forward. nuetral light still working fine, Side stand wiring intact. Is there anything else that should run that way?? Only ask as though the bikes turning over, its no longer firing..
third.. why is it impossible to find a haynes manual for these things? ____________________ Honda CG125 (died a noble death)- Honda CB125TD (modified and converted into.....) - Honda CB200 Benley Cafe (Burnt to cinders by idiots)- Honda CB500 (training for test) - Honda CB600F Hornet (damn laws changed/ passed test on)- Honda Shadow 750 Trike (borrowed for a month while bike was under service CBR--->)- Honda CBR600 F2 - (The only bike I've know to be a 'He') - Suzuki RF900R (borrowing on a mid-long term basis) - Yamaha XJ600 Diversion (oil rings locked up and seized engime of a f*cking motorway) - Honda CBR1000F hurricane ( Aye she's a fast 'un) |

Look at the state of that sprocket, no wonder the chain snapped it must be more stretched than Lisa Riley's knicker elastic. ____________________ a.k.a 'Geri'

From a very poor memory the green is for the neutral and sidestand switch feeding into the interlock circuit. It would explain why it doesn't work but certainly doesn't explain why you think the sidestand switch is working. ____________________ https://www.metacafe.com/watch/1972097/how_to_behave_on_a_forum/ |
