Hiho!

Been working on the GSXR 1100 and here are some pics of where i am up to so far

https://i1177.photobucket.com/albums/x359/vusi_dube/20120815_112337.jpg

https://i1177.photobucket.com/albums/x359/vusi_dube/20120815_112344.jpg

Re did the wheels (nutriomors to metal, base coat then alloy spray)

https://i1177.photobucket.com/albums/x359/vusi_dube/20120815_112355.jpg

Removed the standard clocks replaced with this....

https://i1177.photobucket.com/albums/x359/vusi_dube/20120907_095236.jpg

Chopped the Sub-frame

https://i1177.photobucket.com/albums/x359/vusi_dube/20120907_095216.jpg

https://i1177.photobucket.com/albums/x359/vusi_dube/20120907_095222.jpg

https://i1177.photobucket.com/albums/x359/vusi_dube/20120907_103651.jpg

Chopped off the second exhaust on the left side and shaped the one on the right.

https://i1177.photobucket.com/albums/x359/vusi_dube/20120907_095228.jpg

https://i1177.photobucket.com/albums/x359/vusi_dube/20120907_095216.jpg

https://i1177.photobucket.com/albums/x359/vusi_dube/20120907_103632.jpg

https://i1177.photobucket.com/albums/x359/vusi_dube/20120907_103628.jpg

And here is where i am so far.. The tank is an old one i'm using for mock up as i had to chop and reshape the standard tank bracket so the lines of the bottom of the tank work better with the lines of the frame.

https://i1177.photobucket.com/albums/x359/vusi_dube/20120907_103719.jpg

https://i1177.photobucket.com/albums/x359/vusi_dube/20120907_103708.jpg

The final tank has I've brought back to metal base coated and sprayed matte black.. I'm thinking of changing the name to Black Beauty... Very Happy Any suggestions are welcome.

That's the nitrimors eating up the old paint off the wheels. Going to stick a baffle in there to kill the sound. Still mocking up then will tear it all down to clean and spray bits..
