I've an 04 GSF600, anyone know if it's the washers in the carbs to restrict this model - someone was telling me these were only used up until 2003.

Kick start engineering do restrictor plates for a number of bikes, including your Bandit and my Hornet.
All you do is remove the carbs, smear silicone sealant on both sides of the plate (not near the hole), place each plate with the tip of the triangle facing up into the inlet ports and off you go.
Comes with a certificate which needs to be signed by a mechanic, but to be honest I would not bother. ____________________ My Bikes: Lifan Beat 125cc '11 -> Suzuki B120P '76 -> Suzuki EN 125-2A '08 -> Honda CG 125 '04 -> Honda CB600F Hornet '98 -> Kawasaki ZZR 600 '99 -> Kawasaki GPZ 500S '95 (Current)

I wouldn't be putting silicone sealant in the intake tract. ____________________ a.k.a 'Geri'

Thanks for clearing that up - do they go between the carbs and the engine house?
Sounds like it's a reasonably easy DIY Job? ____________________ "and now turn of your indicator..." www.irishmotorcycletraining.com |

Bandits aren't the easiest to chuck carbs into, royal PITA to remove them but yes. Thats where they go. |
