Right, we've got the restrictor out of the exhaust and were looking for the one in the Air Intake, but not sure if there actually is one!! Is it possible that the bike was only restricted by the exhaust or do the two normally come hand in hand?
Cheers in advance! ____________________ I have an asshole tolerance level of -10

the restrictor is beetween the carburator and the cylinder . it's a flat piece of metal with a round hole in the middle . if you've got some money i would recommand to fit carbon reed . remember you probably also need to upjet your carb like main 145 idle 45 power 70 https://www.dellorto.co.uk (£2.95 ex VAT each jet) and mount a BR9EIX https://www.sparkplugs.co.uk . the valves opening can be also improved (especially for high revs) ____________________ the worst day fishing is better than the best day working |

but the question there was do the two restrictions (i.e. exhaust restrictor and air intake restrictor) come hand in hand, or do some bikes only have it restricted in place, i.e. can the bike be restricted just by the exhaust restrictor? ____________________ www.cliqueycuntsmcc.co.uk

That's how I deristricted my NS. Tank cutter to the exhaust. If I recall that's all the restriction it has. Oh yeah I put carbon reeds in mine too |

Ian, cheers, the only thing we've done so far is remove the restrictor pipe as in the piccies above - is it advisable to do the other things you mention then before riding it again? ____________________ I have an asshole tolerance level of -10
