Stumbled across this test via the F2 Motorcycles site, shows how good ACF50 is. Definitely going to swap the WD40 for it this winter.

I wouldn't. Many have coated their bikes in the stuff and had a hard time removing it in the Spring only to find corrosion where it wears thin. Hose down with cold water after a 'salty' ride and apply a fresh coating of WD or cheapo spray. Regular winter treatment like this will keep you steed in good shape IMO. ____________________ Swansea area

I use GT-85.
It comes off easily with soapy water or wet-wipes, then reapply. Also it doesn't stink like WD-40 when the engine gets hot. So a win really. ____________________ Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter won't mind - Dr. Seuss |

Warm the can a bit in warm water then spray some into the lid, apply with a 1" brush and a smaller brush if needed for more intricate areas. Best way to apply ACF. |

I put off using ACF for years thinking it couldnt possibly be worth the £15 per tin price so stuck with just WD40 on the 125.
Got a tin of ACF for xmas and use it on the 600, bike looked amazing after a wash when winter abated. Bloody hate the smell of it though after covering the bike in it then starting it up. ____________________ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1OPv5mDPQ14

£550 Chinese bike-in-a-box + liberal application of ACF-50 out of the crate and each Winter + 3 years of all weather use with the occasional bucket of water thrown over it =

I'm a believer. In fact, I've bought a litre bottle of the stuff. It's expensive, but far better value for money than the spray cans, and will last multiple bikes for years. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

They are three completel different breads.
WD40 is primaraly a water dispersant. Very limited permanent protection.
365 is a sodium neutralizer to help deal with road salt corrosion. Better longterm protection.
ACF50 is a corrosion barrier that has an extremely tenacious bonding action.
All of them will wash off after a while. ACF when applied as directed forms an invisible shield on everything.
It is so good at it's job that I use it on the Chain Saw, Petrol Hedge Trimmer and the Lawnmower, the cars, the bikes and the iron gates.
I don't think it is expensive. It is more expensive then 365 and wd40 but they don't offer anything like the same perfect protection.
The centre stand and rear shock on my K1300 seemed to be disolving before my eyes. I pressure washed the bastirt and then drowned in ACF50. The treatment halted the progress of the rusting. I give it a wee skoot every couple of washes now. ____________________ W-ireless A-rtificial L-ifeform L-imited to O-bservation P-eacekeeping and E-fficient R-epair |
