Not going to go into much detail as I'm shattered, but I know you BCF lot love a good crash story.

Commuting this morning, I entered a roundabout behind the cunts car. No problems at first until he started brake testing, whilst looking in his rear view mirror. Hmm, areshole I thought. This was halfway round the roundabout. As our exit came, I filtered past with no issues. 2 seconds later, my bike lurches forward and to the side, I kept it upright and immediately turned it off and put the sidestand down.

Best part. He got out, typical yobo middle aged cunt, fat and sweaty. Thinks he can have a go, he tried to push me (typical "U WOT M8"), but I don't budge at all.. being 6ft 2 and pretty fit I fancied my chances, but to my surprise I resisted punching the cunt out.

He got back in his car, drove off without giving me any details. So now it's the usual report to the police, statement, and they are now sending him a form requesting details etc etc. I had a witness, but as the fat yobo drove off I tried to chase him down to no avail, so I'll have to nip to the college he mentioned and track him down tomorrow.

Some serious twats on the roads people, but I don't need to mention that.

And no paint diagram, I'm heading to bed. Laughing

Well done, I guess, on keeping you cool. I'm not usually a violent person but, someone doing a thing like that to me would have probably pressed all the wrong buttons and wouldn't have ended well.

Good luck on getting some justice though. Thumbs Up

It went through my head as I raised my fist, how will this look on me punching him? Not worth it.

Damage to the bike, some cracked fairings pretty much. I've had a look and I don't think there's any structural damage, but I'm going to get it checked to be sure. It was a good shunt it took. Laughing

Normally I'd say that violence isn't the answer and you should just act like grown ups, swap details and whatever. But clearly in this case the guy should have got a beat down. I hope the law deals with him in the appropriate manner.

driving like a wanker....?

No beating required. Thumbs Up

driving like a killer...?

beat to within an inch of his life. Cool

(ok maybe not that far Laughing )

but this has to have repercussion, for the rest of us.

An off like that, has to be an attempt at 'vehicular assault' i think the americans call it.

At best a scary moment.. Shocked
at worst disabilities or someones funeral. Crying or Very sad

Good luck finding the sicko

Sounds like actual assault, too?

Did you feel 'fear and distress' or whatever the wording is?

That should warrant more than a letter, I'd hope - especially if you have a witness to it.

Hit and run is legal though, according to popo. Wink

If you have his reg number, get photos of your bike and go find his car at the college.. fuck it, go in and request the information if they have it as he was involved in an accident yada yada.

Find his car, take details if you haven't, ring insurers, ow... your neck hurts now? Off to hospital and whilst on way report him for hit and run, though fuck load of good that is.

Use your witness to prove this, instant new bike.

Your vehicle was rear ended and when you got off your bike you were assaulted without warning. I'd say that's worth a 'in fear of your life' defence.

Also how could you be really, really certain he wouldn't get back in his car and mow you down like a Death Race 2000 extra?

CCTV?

Otherwise, it'll all come down to that witness and their willingness to get involved - and it doesn't sound like they're up for it.

With hindsight, you'll come to wish that you'd fucked him up on the spot and then called 999 to report an attack on yourself while he bled on your boots. Months of contested insurance wrangling won't have nearly the same satisfaction.

I think "apprehend immediate unlawful force" is the wording your after Mr. Green Thumbs Up

Not only that, as he actually touched you, it's a battery also, as "any unlawful touching" is a battery.

Although you'll probably have to tell the police how to so their own job for them to care Rolling Eyes

Glad you're okay dude - did a great fucking job of not losing it and breaking his mind apart with well-aimed blows to the ball bag, kidney and pelvis. Should've garrotted him with his own entrails then torn his tongue out and watched him bleed to death in a pool of his own excrement, blood, urine and bile.
