i bought a cg 125 for my boy yesterday .

the clutch won't disengage when you pull the clutch in .

i've stripped it down a few times & it looks ok as far as i can tell .

what i'm not sure about is the shaft that comes out of the engine has a outer & inner bit , should the inner shaft move in to the outer shaft to allow the the clutch to disengage ?

advice needed please .

Can you see the plates opening when you pull the lever in?

hmmm... maybe the clutch is stuck? Thinking

if you havnt been messing with the adjusters and have assembled it back right, then that might be it. push it in nutral, run along side as fast as you can, jump on, pull in clutch, bang into second

that's what id do anyway. it might take a few tries

what are the adjusters ?

when the clutch is off the inner & outer shaft turn separately , i think the inner shaft should go in to the outer shaft when the clutch lever is pulled to disengage the clutch , is that what should happen ?
