Increasingly difficult to wheel around. - Now fixed.

My bike varadero 125 is becoming increasingly difficult to wheel around backwards in particular. I've put it on the centre stand the back wheel spins freely so that rules the rear pads sticking out.

These great difficulties of wheeling it around have arisen over the last week the pads were changed by a certified garage at the start of September.

Anything I can do before I take it back to the garage?

Start of September, maybe they've just got dirt around the pistons and you haven't cleaned them. I know you haven't.

Not be a retard.

Remove caliper, remove pads, push pistons out a tiny bit more using the brake lever, clean the pistons, push back in clean the shit off the caliper, refit pads, refit caliper, done.

Given that you ride a lot and probably all weathers, the calipers might start to gum up a fair bit, cleaning is the best bet.

Caliper off, pump brake twice, spray with lots of brake cleaner and scrub pistons with toothbrush. Put caliper back on.

Two bolts, I'm fairly confident even you cant fuck this one up

I think the wheel has to come off to get the rear caliper off a Varadero. Plenty of scope for fuck-upperage.

You need to take the pistons out to clean them otherwise you are just pushing the muck back in. Take the callipers off, leave the brake pads in the calliper and pump until they are closed together, the take the pads out and pump again till the pistons come out, you can use mole grips to help them come out the rest of the way. Just make sure that the pistons are fitted properly in the first place. There should be a solid flat surface facing outward. Some pillocks put them in the wrong way and have the open bit facing out, the hollow bit is where the brake fluid goes.

Far from a easy brake to sort I done a few
Unless you the OP are more capable than you sound take it to a Pro
Brakes are not a good place to muck up
