Is this in every gear? uphill and downhill?

Always try to give as much information as you can to aid an easy fix!! Very Happy I dont have too much knowledge of new 125's but I may have something to suggest with the right info.

Sounds like a flat spot from the powervavle being jammed open.

Take it to a mechanic and tell them to sort the powervavle out. should take them about 10 seconds to figure out whats wrong with it.
Worst case scenario would be a new powervavle + labour costs and would come to about £100, not alot given the improvement it will make.

Hi

Tends to suggest the power valve is stuck closed.

On the right side of the engine just above the exhaust there is a little cover (rubber I think) with a couple of cables going to it. Peel the cover back and turn the ignition on. It should open and close the power valve when the ignition is switched on (self cleaning and to check it is in the correct position) so you should see it move.

The control units for the power valve do fail on the Mito. These are ~£100 new, and to have a warrenty 3X will only sell you the control unit with a new power valve motor (another ~£100).

All the best

Keith

That is because it is the powervalve, NOT THE EXHAUST.
