It says on the box that it is for the CBR125 07-10 models, but does somebody know if they work anyways on the newer CBR?

No idea if it'll work but I'd just suggest leaving it in its box and selling it back on. Or not buying it in the first place - whichever is more relevant

Wow so awesome now your bike is...............slower than an old shitter that can be bought for less than a power commander.

Did you remember a red powerband? All that work is wasted without one.

And does is still produce less bhp than a >£1000 2 stroke 125? Answers probably yes lol. Wasted your money in my opinion.

I've bought you each something to fight with:

Pair of women. Laughing

I'd actually quite fancy some sort of tuned small bike myself, though I'd go for a two stroke. In the end it's not about the numbers it's about how fun it is to ride.

What can have you got on it? You haven't mentioned that, is it something that makes it sound less farty and more like a proper bike. Those are what dreams are made of.

I'm guessing you shouldn't use the internet before your morning Ritalin.

So then pro-racer kid, do tell us why you have spent that much on a 125.............

Is your hobby winding folk up by posting obviously inadequate information and then going full shrieking hissy fit when you get the unhelpful answers that you deserve? Eh?

You don't have a CBR125, you've got a CBR125 block with god knows what sort of kludges piled on top of it, doubtless with the fuelling shot to buggery. The only person who can advise you is someone who has done similar, and you should probably not be seeking out the opinions of fools with more money than sense.

If license isn't an issue, then why not just sell your Frankenbike to another sucker and get a Ninja 250/300 instead?

Do you shoot ping pong balls out of your pussy? That is also well known in Thailand (the basis of their economy) and is far more sensible to do than fit a PC to a CBR 125

That last post, although it ends in more abuse, is actually the most useful and gives us a proper insight into your request. In actual fact, had that appeared first, the outcome would have been different. If it were me, I'd check with the power commander website which is very good and allows you to cross-reference models etc.

I have a Power Commander on my ER-6. I didn't buy it, it came with it. Mainly because the fueling is crap on the ER-6 and this works a treat.
A little more information, always helps.

Dat flounce.

A power commander is pointless, despite having all your bolted on tat.

Buy a CBR250 and be done with it.

I never dynoed it but probably around 24-28hp heres the same modification with 24hp: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VX3jXW-CJ5Q im not sure if this guy had race cams like i did. It is also even possible to get a 190cc bore up like a friend of my had.

And to Paddy with the quick mouth. You dont know what youre talking about. And why should I get a CBR250 when mine has more HP and is lighter? How lame it must be to have a stock bike, I cant imagine it...

Oh, you ride it at wide open throttle at the peak of the power curve all the time, do you?

Well, let me count the ways:

Arrow It'll cost you less than throwing mod after mod at your ickle CBR
Arrow The 250 will retain its value better
Arrow It'll have a gearbox designed for that raw screaming POWAH.
Arrow In countries where we have insurance (sorry, boring UK subject), you won't have to choose between either defrauding your insurer or being mugged for a higher premium on the modified bike.
Arrow The longevity of the engine should be better than your Frankenbike.
Arrow Bitches be creaming for 250s, yo.

Anyway, didn't you already:

1) Sell the bike
and
2) Flounce?

Well by seeing what you ride I am pretty sure we have very different interests. All your points would come from a typical A to B rider. You probably change the oil at a workshop too don't you?

The points for having a 250 you made are all points a woman with a Honda Civic would say. No offense bro.

Yes I have sold the bike and the engine? I can still tell what power it made?

Flounce? I told you flamers to gtfo this topic because all I can hear is "OMG BRAH Why buy pcv omg waste of money bro! Rather drive a stock 650 adventure bike and ride across europe and drink some tea. Nah..

And I dont see the flame on tuning a 125cc bike? Sure it wont go as fast as your 2015 BMW adventure bike. I also find it funny that you call my bike a frankenstein Very Happy You are prob the same guy who makes fun of people putting turbos in their cars and chipping them etc?

This topic has gotten all out of hand and the question began with me asking simply if the PCV works for the newer CBR models... I think someone is just jalouse because they rode a stock YBR125 back in their days.....
