You can pick up bundles with both of those games from Amazon. You might as well wait until boxing day now since you're not desperate to get one.

Would you not have an internet connection for it? I would have thought GTA V and Forza would only be half a game if you had to play them offline..

Console is good and very quiet, but it is big. The Smartglass app enables you to use your smartphone as a remote which is pretty cool.

I've used it as a media player by plugging in my external HDD full of legitimately obtained TV series and films and works great - with the Smartglass app too.

I use mine but have the master race box chilling in the corner.

Xbox gets used for Destiny, big time.

I have 4-5meg internet at the moment and it plays online fine.

Downloads take a while though. At the moment GTA 5 updates fairly regularly and they're always 1.1gb in size unlike the 76mb updates on the 360 Brick Wall

It can take up a sizable chunk of your fair usage just updating. Why they can't be small patches I'll never know. Neutral

You'll only have to download Forza once, just start it then go out for a few hours.

Had a look at Destiny, is it worth getting?

Hi, we are fortunate to have the one and the ps4.

Regarding media, both have Netflix, Iplayer etc. But the Ps4 can't play video files ie MP4 avi etc.

There is a player for the one, but the last time I looked it was a beta version but it did work. The one has a side usb slot.

Saying that I don't see this as an issue, I used to use my PS3 or 360 for playing movies off usb. Nowadays I always the usb slot on my TV. My TV can also connect and play videos over my home lan.

Sony have recently added MP3 playback. Though I don't think it can play audio CDs, this certainly was the case though it may have changed.

Last time I tried the xbox one could play CDs, but it was crap compared to the 360 as there was no facility to rip the music to the hard drive.

One other thing to note xbox one games take f.......ages to install, like agessssssssssss.

Otherwise it's boring as shit lol

Xbox is great, very glad I got it. Even though I paid the outrageous release price last year

Only downside so far is no sky go app. Which is a pain for me as I just use that instead of paying for my own subscription, so have to use the 360 for that

Xbox one also has hdmi in so can play things through it if you want

Reliance on connection is annoying, but at least you can play games still with no connection, but not a lot else will work as they are all apps. Luckily only had 1 day of no Internet in a year

Can't remember but the play and charge kit on these is far better than the 360 ones, full charge takes like an hour and lasts over a week of use

Sanyo Eneloop's are your answer.

I use them with an Accu Power IQ-328.

Anyone playing GTA V on Xbox one (or xbox 360 as a secondary), want to buddy up? At the moment I'm a (very) easy target, need to level up and gain experience from someone. On 25 (one) and 6 (360 only use this because my daughter has one).
