Spent ages riding it round block, getting off checking everything, repeating, trying to work out why i was fighting the vanvan to go straight, bars oscillating. Had a cup of tea, then realised hadn’t checked tyre pressure. It was 12psi on front, it’s usually at 19psi. |

I found the ignition switch in my American ̶d̶r̶e̶a̶m̶ ̶m̶a̶c̶h̶i̶n̶e̶ tractor had come loose so had to strip half the engine apart (slight exageration) to sort that. (why is it cool to put your ignition down by your knee?)
Went over the bike with a fine tooth comb. Left hand side panel hanging by one fixing as the other grommets had split. Brake pads not brilliant and one caliper bolt loose. Rear air suspension low. Total bodge job on the rear speaker wiring. Going to totally replace that cause Americans don't seem to understand how crimps work.
I was replacing the front pads when next door neighbors grand son came out and said my bike was beautiful. A lad of taste. He then proceeded to help me by asking all those questions you don't want to think about while you are trying to get the brake pistons to retract with a g glamp and a bit of flat bar.
Still it made his day when i sat him on it and started it. His Mum wasn't so impressed though ____________________ Triumph Trophy Launch Edition |
