Unfortunately, as Ste said, you can't de-restrict a 4 stroke, as they are already de-restricted. ____________________ Honda MBX50 | Yamaha RD125LC | Suzuki RG125F Lucky Strike | Suzuki GSF600S

My mate has just bought a SR125 too, I'll point him to this thread to see what he can do. I have to admit, the SR125 is a nifty bike. I drove one from Darlington to Rochdale last week and it easily got to 65-70 when I was slip streaming lorries. I think the bike is very one fun and excellent to learn on. |

I think Ive had a great idea how to get my SR125 to go faster!
I currently weigh just over 15 stone, If i can get down to my youthful weight of about 11 1/2 stone I might get an increase of about 5 mph what do ya reckon guys......
I think I'm giving up now.. Keith thanks for your input, it makes sense and I had a laugh too. ____________________ John |

Yup. guess I've got to do it and take my test, its just this bloody theory and hazard perception I'm not looking forward to. I have had a full licence for over 18 years so realistically I dont stand a chance without going back to skool as it were!!!
Still its booked for end July and Ive ordered every learning aid I can find on Amazon. While they do have them training cd's for bikes they only have hazard perception cd's for car drivers. Also, I was reading in MCN that this has been noticed, so what may I ask is anyone doing about it?
Still its good to see that the new roads minister is a biker, restores my faith somewhat. ____________________ John |
