 Posted: 00:24 - 15 Aug 2005 Post subject: The worst weekend i think ive ever had... *Only Top-end!* |
 |
|
im not going to explain it all but the hightlights were:
- failing theory as i didnt click enought in hazard perception/clicked too early
- RS125 engine blowing up while at almost a ton and rear wheel locking up and almost coming off (got the clutch in just in time)
- relise i left my breakdown number at home
- had to take it over a hour away from my house as nowhere touches aprilias round here
- having to take my friends shity BMX to work with one gear and took forever as you need a car/bike to get there (took at least 1/2 hour each way)
- falling off my friends BMX as the chain was rusted and just fell off and i feel off the bike in the middle of the road
- relise all my test money and holiday spending money has to got toward a bike rebuild
- having to stay round peoples houses as my house is 45mins away and dont have money for trains
erm, i think thats it so over the weekend ive become bikeless, in major debt (found out tomorrow), in pain and buised and generally pissed off!oh and i wrote a post about my bike in detail and just as i finished my PC just whiped it when i click submit ____________________ 99 RS125 --> 02 SV650s --> 03 Speed Four --> 92 RXS100 --> 93 CB400sf --> 01 CB600f Hornet

yea as long as the rebuild isnt too much, even if im only left with £20 so i can pass my theory again as i sould of passed (34/35 but 40/75 but clicked too early in 4 clips and got 0/5) lol at least i didnt crash it again! so not all bad
and like mchaggis said it would isnt a 1/10 of a problem compared to someone being hurt bad or died so not all bad.lol ____________________ 99 RS125 --> 02 SV650s --> 03 Speed Four --> 92 RXS100 --> 93 CB400sf --> 01 CB600f Hornet |

Have you considered trying to figure the problem out yourself? I'm sure a lot of people (myself included) wouldn't mind at all helping you diagnose and fix it without worrying about labour costs. Just need a rachet set and some screwdrivers . |

i had a bad weekend as well m8, started a new job, then realised it was shite pay, so quit. i had no money at all, gettin the usual shite from parents, crashed bike, took fairings off to see what id done, realised i need a new set of forks as they are in the shape of a squashed banana, then realised i also need to weld the frame back together where its snapped when it hit the curb, ill probably need a new front wheel as it looks like its buckled, then sunday. went to start stripping fairings of stickers ect, then got told i owe out 170 quid (considering i have no job an no inconme. then had family dispute which i nearly had t move out over, then today i have just been disowned by sienile grandparents for losing a 90 million year old bow saw that i last used 8 years ago and gave them it back over 6 years ago. i also just found out that i have t go suit shopping tonight with parents. |

I feel for you mate. I had a speedfight 50 when i was 16, and after a month of it, and being the happiest little 16yr old in the world, it broke down. Repairs costed £400 and i was gutted. However i have had 2 RS125's since and both have been angels never breaking down. Im sure your next bike will do you proud |

| Quote: | You want to be asking yourself why did it blow up? the bike is only on low mileage. |
i ALWAYS warm it up, never go off if under 60 degrees, never take it into the redline, treat it well.
i think the reason it i drive too fast for a 125cc to handle, i think when i come back from holiday (going for 2 weeks this friday) i will have £550 gathered from test money, £80 that in my account and will have £200ish from work as payed a week behind.
my dad drove past were it blow up today and said the skid marks were huge and went side to side really bad, he said from the skids i was lucky to have stayed on,
i put it down to skill.... JOKE
| Quote: | Meh, you only dropped it off at them the other day, might be quite busy |
yea i agree keith the reason i keep ringing is because they tell me when there looking at it, saidf first thing monday, htne first thing tuesday, im not trying to piss them off just would like a time that is true thats all, if that makes sence.
Just got back to my house for the first time since my engine blow up as work is 45mins away and been staying round friends houses around that area, i didnt have spare cloths or anything not good! ____________________ 99 RS125 --> 02 SV650s --> 03 Speed Four --> 92 RXS100 --> 93 CB400sf --> 01 CB600f Hornet |

yea it was over as i just shifted into 6th gear it was a bit of a shork as i didnt relise that the rear wheel would lock up (it makes sense that it does but still..) the bike has 3000ish KM on clock so wasnt even due ring change (not that i know how to do it) lol,
Just wondering could someone explain the reason that they tend to sieze so that i know as i hate not knowing why things happen, if that makes sense.lol ____________________ 99 RS125 --> 02 SV650s --> 03 Speed Four --> 92 RXS100 --> 93 CB400sf --> 01 CB600f Hornet |
