i was doing a bit over the limit the othe day, then at the last minute noticed the pig van on top of the bridge, but i was heading towards it. and when i had a look back though my mirrors it wasn't there. not sure if it shot off after me or i just couldn't see it because it was on the other side of the bridge.

Hi,

You can have 6 points in th first 2 years but not more than 6 so if Killa got 3 points he would be fine.

Also I do think you should make sure they applied the law to prosecute you, they do get it wrong both in terms of the bike/car involved and the actual speed.

Unless you are sure you were speeding at that place and time it might be bollocks

I would weigh up how much it will cost to fight versus bending over and taking it, then redoing your test.

I've got three points, which I don't like and are killing my insurance a bit more, but would have cost me a few grand to fight it unfortunately and I'd be paying that off for quite a long time.

A couple of interesting tips on avoidance here. Like it. Have to try it next time if I can. Depends on where I am when I get caught.

About the 6 points and licence revoked bit. Excuse me if I'm being a bit thick but it states if you passed your first driving test after June 97 and get more than 6 points within 2 years you lose it. Fine, but if you passed your first test many years ago, and your bike test only recently, does this mean you get a probationary period for your bike test?

heres one which works...


Agree to take it to court...
The court will give you a date..
Book that date off work (Thats if you work you lazy fuck )

Then a week or two down the line, the Court wll change the date, they ALWAYS do...

Then tell them you cannot take that day off as you have already booked the origional date off. You refuse to book it off because you will get sacked.

The courts will call it off because it will cost them too much to re-arrange again.

They will NOT beable to provide it. They never can...

Go speak to a PROPER guy in a registered office of LAW.
You know, the guy sitting behind a desk of legal papers and spends a few days in court each week and has studied law until he's been accepted by a recognised law firm/practice.
A lot of good advice at BCF but all by the by.
If it was my licence on the chopper I'd go speak to someone like:

Can't be bothered to read through all this to see if it's already been asked but......Have you asked to see the photographic evidence. It's amazing how many cases are dropped coz someone fooks up and loses the frame evidence.

And yes you are entitled to see it and they HAVE to provide it but only if requested
