 |

Well the other day on my way to college and seeing a biker i was sure was ZZR Girl it got me wondering, how many miles does everyone here ride to work/college? i ride 25 miles each way and think its not too long but still a fair distance.
unfortantly if you only get the bike out on sunny sundays you cant take park in this poll, you should ride you bike in all weather!!
ive set up a poll and be great if you could take a minute just to say how long you commute!
also add a post about how far it is, just as i wunder if my commute is long or short compared to everyone else, ____________________ 99 RS125 --> 02 SV650s --> 03 Speed Four --> 92 RXS100 --> 93 CB400sf --> 01 CB600f Hornet |

10 miles, twice a day 5 days a week, with a choice of 3 different twisty country lane routes or a piece of the A38. Quite like it actually. |

About 15 miles down the A38 in rush hour. It takes between 30 and 40 minutes, depending on how busy it is and how much filtering I do. There's more than enough practise at the traffic light GP though. ____________________ I must not be a troll...

I commute to and from work and do the school run every weekday.
It is about 12 miles all told. Dual carriageways mostly. I enjoy whizzing about at 90. Saves commuting time that's for sure. About 8 mins and I'm there, two towns away !
I do it in all weathers (have to), and mostly enjoy it.
My kid finds it fun too ____________________ Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow" |

Hi there. New to the forum.
By the sounds of it, i live in the same sort of area as Andy13_UK and Davo. I travel to college in Eastbourne twice a week on my GPZ500 (not really proper commuting i know). Usually take the direct route in the morning as i have to be there early (about 18 miles). On the way home i'll take the scenic route through some of the nice twisties in the area making about 40 odd miles.
Quite often see an RS125 on my travels. Could well be Andy13.
If you see a nice shiney GPZ out and about on the south coast, give us a nod
Cheers. |
