First off, it is in neutral, isn't it? Other than that, I would think a safety cutoff switch (sidestand or clutch) or fuse are the most likely options. If the battery is dodgy, it should probably still make the starter relay click or make some noise at least. Charge it up and have a play. It is unlikely that there is a problem with the starter motor, it is quite likely to be the battery or something silly like a loose connection/ duff switch.

Do the lights work? Put lights on and hit starter, do the lights dim?

If they dim, charge your battery (not with a car charger) and give that a go. Or you could try bump starting.

If they don't dim, check the interlocks as suggested above. After that, check starter solenoid. Smile

try bumping it off to see if it will start with out any electrical help i.e starter motor

if it does get a multi meter across your battery and check the voltage if its 12volt or above then its ok if its below it either flat or had it

if thats ok then it will be your starter motor

Current is too high. The majority of car chargers will damage a bike battery.

That's not normal. Your battery should remain charged and if it isn't then your bike has a problem. Post a new thread and we'll help you work it out. Smile

If that keeps happening get the Regulator checked out, with the bike reving to 2,500-3,000 RPM the voltage accross the battery should be about 13 volts. If its much higher you will most likely have a regulator fault, if much lower an altenator fault.

I can even get the bike started. When press ignition button the starter motor goes round a few times very slowly then it gets slower and slower. I can't bump as i don't know how as I am very new to biking. MY bike is Rieju Rs2 Matrix
