i am balancing my carbs on my yam divvy after borrowing a set of guages from davo (cheers mate) unfortionatly the brass tube threads are too small, i think i need 6 mm port adapters

https://www.holeshot.com/tools/images/tool_carb_sync_gauges.jpg

does anyone have/know where i can get them in a larger thread size or a way round the problem
Cheers
WN

edit: carbtune sell the adaptors but not sure if they will be ok as at the end of the brass adaptors i have in the kit there is an opening about the width of a pin, concerned that this difference will cause errors in the readings

Will the rubber tube fit onto the pipe between the carb and the cylinder?
To be honest those type of gauges are not the most accurate in the world so the carbtune adaptors are unlikely to cause you much of a problem.

Go for the adaptors. A set of gauges like that are perfectly adequate unless you're after the last smidgeon of power - I have some and I get good results as long as all the gauges read the same.

If the pipe is a good fit over the adaptors (cable tie if you're desperate) they'll be ok and you can damp out the fluctuations with those plastic valves.

You have to remember to blank off the vacuum tap take-off if fitted - took me an hour to find that out the first time I did my GS thou. Embarassed

An M6 screw down the pipe usually works.

either drill out an M6 bolt, or i think mig welder gun tips are 6mm threaded and have the hole.
