I always put the cover on the bike, even if it's soaked, it makes the bike alot harder to see with a dark green cover on, it hides the shape so you can't really tell what it is and before you can do that you need to see it from a distance. Keeps it abit warmer too |

I've just covered my bike, its wet after going for spin earlier (to test new leathers).
I also feel guilty if not covered from a security point of view, but also feel guilty about leaving water on the bike under the covers? ____________________ Current : MSX 125 Past : CBR 900RR Monkeybike : c50 LAC : ZXR750 H2 : FZR600 : ZX7R P3 : YW100 : TRX850: Trophy 900 T309 : GSXR 600 L0: Monkeybike : XJ6S Whosthedaddy |

i normally cover it, i normally wash it while it hot and then leave in a min and then wheel it down the side and then cover it, most of the water is off as hot and protects it from rusting (its a suzuki so need a lot of pretecting!!) ____________________ 99 RS125 --> 02 SV650s --> 03 Speed Four --> 92 RXS100 --> 93 CB400sf --> 01 CB600f Hornet |

I often give it a quick wash after riding in the rain then blast the worst water off with leaf blower then cover with breathable bike cover ____________________ Non Omnis Moriar |

Maybe it's just the areas where I've lived. First night my bike was here someone set the alarm off trying to remove the cover. Gazdaman's MZ was nicked when he forgot to put the chain on in the evening, think it was PaulTheWitt's bike that got nicked from outside the main police station Think Chills had a KLR and a CBR600 taken. I've also known others outside the forum. |

Build a lean to. Everyone has a spare wall at the back of the house somewhere. Obviously if your bike is parked on the road this isn't an option. |
