Powerlet
They do a kit that plugs into a tank bag and ends in a cigarette lighter style socket. Looks very neat and tidy, if a little expensive
Powerlet Solution
Inside the tank bag
Tank bag NOT included in powerlets costs ____________________ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm with G on this one in that as they are designed to stick out of car dashboards they are quite cumbersome.
I have a triple one which also has a USB port and I try and use the USB when I can as it takes up far less space. The socket itself doesn't take up too much space, it's the big chargers that stick out of it.
I can vouch for the £3.50 Hong Kong eBay triple sockets with USB port. I've had mine stuffed under my seat for two winters now and it still works just fine. ____________________ H100 Breaking for spares |

I found all my stuff at the bottom of a tool box in my garage so it cost me nothing to fit
Clicky
I didn't bother with a relay for three reasons:
1. It would have cost me money.
2. My bike is kickstart.
3. My PDA doesn't hold charge very well so if I turned the bike off I'd have to boot it up again once the engine was running and that takes ages. |
